Hi,
I’m Neil Crookes, I build Web Applications in PHP.
I work for Five by Five, a digital communications agency in Southampton, UK, as a Senior Programmer in the Web Development team.
I use the CakePHP Rapid Application Development Framework to build my apps. Examples include booking engines, content management systems, eCommerce solutions and many more.
In addition, I work very closely alongside a highly talented team of individuals responsible for client services, project management, graphic and user interface design and template/front end build.
Through working with these guys, I have learnt alot about best practices, and picked up a few hints and tips for succeeding in all stages of the web application project development lifecycle.
I also have my own opinions about what works and what doesn’t.
